Client Guidance for Proper Use
Our Commitment
The ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark represents trust, quality, and world-class pride.
Certified organizations may use this mark only in accordance with the rules below to ensure credibility and integrity.
1. Eligibility to Use the ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark
An organization may use the ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark only when:
The audit for the applicable standard has been completed
No nonconformities remain open
A valid ABSQ Benchmark certificate has been issued
ABSQ Benchmark auditors will verify correct usage during surveillance and recertification audits.
2. Design and Layout Rules
The ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark must be used exactly as provided
Original colors only – no redesign, distortion, or color changes
The mark must remain clear and legible
The mark must always be smaller than your organization’s logo
For standards other than ISO 9001, the standard number may be replaced (e.g., ISO 14001:2015)
3. Where the Certification Mark MAY Be Used
You may use the ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark only for activities within your certified scope, including:
✔ Allowed Uses
Company brochures and profiles
Business cards and letterheads
Quotations and invoices
Websites and social media pages
Exhibition stands, banners, and vehicles
These uses must clearly indicate that your management system is certified, not your products.
4. Use on Packaging and Related Materials
Use on packaging is allowed only with a clarifying statement, such as:
“This product was manufactured in a plant operating in conformity with ISO 9001, certified by ABSQ Benchmark.”
This ensures the mark is not interpreted as product certification.
5. Certificate Number (Optional)
Displaying your ABSQ Benchmark certificate number is optional
If used, it should appear clearly below the certification mark
(e.g., Cert No.XXXXX)
6. Prohibited Uses (Very Important)
The ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark must NOT be used:
To imply certification of a product, service, process, or person
On test reports, calibration certificates, or inspection results
On promotional gifts (e.g., calendars, umbrellas, gift cards)
In any way that could mislead customers about the scope of certification
Outside the approved certification scope
7. Suspension or Withdrawal of Certification
If ABSQ Benchmark certification is suspended or withdrawn, the organization must:
Immediately stop using the ABSQ Benchmark Certification Mark
Remove the mark from all media, materials, and platforms
Ensure no further distribution of materials bearing the mark
Failure to comply may result in certificate termination.
